Banquets and Weddings



The Sea Crest Resort offers more than just a stunning location. We offer the professional and creative services of our catering and culinary teams; our goal is to bring your vision to life.

Set -Up Fees and Minimum Food and Beverage Expenditures
There are set up fees for equipment and labor for all events. Events in the Ballroom will incur a set up charge of $2,000.00 and Oceanfront Dining $2,500.00. Events utilizing both the Ballroom and Oceanfront Dining are subject to a $4,000.00 set up charge.
The use of function space is dependant on a contracted minimum expenditure for food and beverage. Oceanfront Dining and the Ballroom have a minimum of $10,000.00 on Fridays and Sundays and $15,000.00 on Saturdays.

Additional Fees
All food & beverage services are subject to a non-taxable 16% service charge, a taxable 4% administrative fee and state sales tax, currently at 6.25%. Service charges are distributed to hourly associates who are engaged in the service of events. The administrative fee is retained by the hotel to defer overhead costs and therefore no portion of this administrative fee is distributed to the hourly paid staff. Meeting room rental, audio-visual equipment and miscellaneous charges are subject to 6.25% sales tax.

Guest Rooms
With the confirmation of your wedding, the catering department is happy to block up to 10 rooms for your guests. The rooms will be held until 60 days prior to the event, at which time any un-booked rooms will be released. Additional rooms are subject to availability.

Amenity Delivery
Gifts sent to your guests may be arranged through the Catering Manager. Gifts delivered to your guest’s hotel room by hotel staff will be charged at $4.00 per room.

Child & Vendor Meals
Children’s meals are available at $12.00 per child for ages 10 and under. Vendor meals can be provided at $28.00 per vendor.

Cake Cutting Fee
There will be a $3.00 per person cake cutting fee for wedding cakes. This fee is subject to state sales tax, currently at 6.25%.
